Ministries that Nourish the Whole Person
Living Water Community’s Pastoral Ministries are the spiritual heartbeat of our Community. Rooted in prayer, the sacraments, and authentic Christian fellowship, they reach out to people of all ages and walks of life — accompanying them on their journey towards God.
From one-to-one Spiritual Direction and professional counselling to vibrant Youth Ministry, Prison Ministry, and drug rehabilitation, each pastoral work is an expression of our Mission Statement: to reach out to people who are in need of help, whether physical, spiritual, or emotional.

Ministries
Prayer Meeting
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
The Eucharist is a priceless treasure, Pope John Paul II. All are welcome to come to the Blessed Sacrament chapels of the Community and participate in Eucharistic adoration – the act of worshiping God as He is present in the consecrated Eucharist. This takes place daily in our chapel.
Intercessor’s Ministry
In this ministry, members unite in prayer for those who make requests to the community. We welcome and honour all requests for prayers for any problem, whatsoever. Intercessory prayer has shown the wondrous ways in which God answers requests and grants miracles.
Counselling & Spiritual Direction
Trained Community counsellors offer emotional and spiritual guidance one-on-one with a listening ear, prayer, and compassion. Basic counselling programmes for family life and other issues are also on offer.
Hospital Visitation
Through this Ministry, Jesus is brought to the hospital beds of the sick, through visits, prayer, the Holy Eucharist, and the comforting presence of community members.
Men's Ministry
An uplifting ministry of prayer and fellowship for all men in the Community and beyond. Monthly meetings, spiritual retreats and fun sporting times are available within the grace and friendship of this ministry.
Youth Ministry
Walking alongside young people as they discover their identity in Christ, our Youth Ministry forms the next generation of disciples through prayer, community and encounter — equipping them to live their faith boldly in the world.
Young Adult Ministry
For those navigating the questions, transitions and possibilities of early adulthood, our Young Adult Ministry offers a community of faith where seekers and believers alike can go deeper — in relationship with God and with one another.
Children’s Liturgy of the Word/Children’s Ministry
Welcoming our youngest members as full participants in the life of the community, our Children’s Ministry breaks open the Word of God in ways that speak to young hearts — nurturing a love for Jesus that will root and grow for a lifetime.
Prison Ministry
A small team of community members visit the Prison in Port of Spain weekly. Praying, worshipping and sharing of God’s word with those behind bars. This time is greatly appreciated; simply knowing that God cares for them can change their lives.
Life in the Spirit Seminars
Our foundational journey into the heart of the Christian life, the Life in the Spirit Seminar opens participants to a personal encounter with Jesus Christ and the transforming power of the Holy Spirit — the same fire of love that has been at the heart of Living Water Community since 1975
Bible Classes
Rooted in the conviction that Scripture is a living word spoken to us today, our Bible Classes invite members and seekers alike to encounter God through His Word — growing in understanding, faith and the confidence to share what they have received. Bible classes take place on Monday morning at 9:15 am and Monday evenings at 7:00 pm.
Formation Classes
Drawing from the rich tradition of Catholic teaching and spirituality, our Formation Classes provide in-depth grounding in the faith — equipping members to live as fully integrated disciples whose prayer, relationships and daily lives reflect the love of God.
Workshops and Retreats
From focused skill-building workshops to extended times of prayer and renewal, our retreats and workshops create sacred space for transformation — moments to step back, listen deeply and return to the world refreshed, re-rooted and re-sent.
