Consecrated Life

Consecrated Household Members

Consecrated
Members

Consecrated Household Members are called to live a way of life that will lead them to holiness of charity through the observance of the evangelical counsels of chastity, poverty, and obedience, as well as a life of friendship in community.

LWC Statutes, S74

Taking the Lord’s mission as their own, the hearts of the consecrated members should so burn with love for all God’s people, that all in need should find a home in their hearts.

LWC Statutes, S74

Consecrated Life in the World

Life
in the World

Covenanted members of the Community, responsive to the Father’s call, may choose to give themselves in total consecration, while living in the midst of the world where it often seems that the signs of God’s presence have been lost from sight.

LWC Statutes, S75

These members live in their own homes and work at their own professions or in the ministries of the community. They are guided and supported by a deep prayer life and the evangelical counsels. This way of life flows from the desire of members to belong completely to God, to be faithful to Him, and daily to be the disciples of His loving presence in the world. In this way, they grow in holiness.
