Easter Prayer Opportunities

We look forward to celebrating the Resurrection with you during the Easter Season. Come back to see updates on prayer opportunities and classes during this time!

Enter Into Lent

During Lent, we grow closer to Jesus by praying, fasting and giving. This means praying more, not eating meat on certain days as well as giving up other “comforts,” and donating our money, time and talents.

Pray

Throughout the Lenten season, there are many opportunities to join us in prayer!

    • Stations of the Cross
    • Sunday Evening Prayer
    • Retreat Opportunities
    • Weekly Email Reflections from Bishop Robert Barron

More information below!

Fast

We are also called to fast and abstain during this season. This is a time to give up some of our comforts in order to focus on the sacrifice Christ made on the Cross. Fasting is a sacrifice that dates back to the early Church.

For Catholics, fasting is the reduction of one's intake of food, while abstinence refers to refraining from something that is good, and not inherently sinful, such as meat.

Days of Fast & Abstinence: Ash Wednesday & Good Friday
Days of Abstinence: Fridays in Lent

Give

As one of the three pillars of Lenten practice, almsgiving is "a witness to fraternal charity" and  "a work of justice pleasing to God." (Catechism of the Catholic Church, no. 2462).

As a community, there are many ways you can share your time, talent and treasure with us. We accept gently used donations of clothing and food items, volunteers and monetary donations. To donate online, click the link below:
